Oh what a week. I was doing so much better this semester with sleep. Then Sunday night I got a lovely 2 hours of sleep. Monday was just fabulous. I have 5 classes on Monday. AHHHHHHH!!! And I had a project due, a midterm, and 3 quizzes. Just fabulous. So my midterm ended up being quite hilarious. I kept dozing off during it. Once when I sort of "came to" again, I looked down and had written something about playing with kids. Another time I had written about eating ice cream. And a third time I looked down and realized I had written about taking a dog to the park.
I think I was just a *wee* bit tired. Thank goodness I read back over my answers and was able to fix them before turning it in! Otherwise, Dr. Burson might have considered institutionalizing me. Alicia and I over Christmas Break

Then Monday night I made some real progress and got 3 hours of sleep.
Alicia and I were on FB at the same time around 3 in the morning, being a support group for each other. Lol. We talked some about her wedding, which was fun. That night I was writing up a lesson plan and was dozing off during it. Again. And when I reread my lesson plan, I had written about Jen walking a dog.
What is it with me and dogs lately?! Apparently dog-sitting Spoot and Ringo affected me more than I realized. Haha!I was sitting at the dining room table with my computer when we were house-sitting and saw the dogs sitting like this, staring out the back door. Another time when I looked over, Ringo was looking out the door and Spoot was on his hind legs with his front legs on Ringo's back to get a better view. Lol!

This morning I was typing up some article reviews and I typed something funky too. I NEED SLEEP!!!
So, like the rest of America, we warmed WAY up a couple weeks ago. The large amounts of snow melted away completely. The HUGE piles in parking lots and such didn't melt, but they did shrink way down. Monday morning I was wearing my pink and brown "in between" coat. I walked out the back door of Livingston (my dorm) and proceeded to slip on the ice and fall gracefully (snort) onto my knees and hands. I was trying to walk down the sidewalk, but it was pure ice! So I slid and jerked my way over to the grass and walked on that up the hill and as much as I could down to the science hall. I still had to walk on cement at times and almost fell about 6 more times. It was rather scary. So I went and dropped off the graded papers to Prof. Cherry and left the science hall at a rapid pace, not thinking. And my feet shot right out from under me and down I went on my rear end. Graceful really should be my middle name. The girl behind me was so worried about me. Lol. I tried to walk down the hill, but it was soooo slick, so I hopped over to the grass and took that route. Then when I left for my afternoon class it had gotten way colder, so I put my pink winter peacoat back on. It was still just windy at that point. Imagine our surprise when we come up out of the dungeon (Dr. Burson's name for her room tucked away in the basement of Loew-Bren), and it's a winter wonderland outside! The ground was already covered and the air was a white mess. What on earth?!
The snow came down HARD and FAST. We got quite a few inches in no time. I laid down to attempt to take a nap that afternoon and got 4 phone calls in the 20 minutes I was sleeping. Haha. So much for sleep. Jen called to tell me they were going to Pizza Hut or Applebees for dinner as both places were having fundraisers that night and asked if I wanted to go. Silly question. So I chose for us to go to PH. Then Jen called me again to say Mom was coming to get me. Then she called again to say that Mom wanted me to pack my bags as they didn't think they'd get me back to school that night. So we went and saw half the population of Huntington at PH, which was fun. Yes, I exaggerate on a frequent basis. It should be my major.
In another bit of randomness, I never shared about the texts I got from Andrea last month about her wedding. She said, "What do you think of light blue, cream, and black as our colors? Black bridesmaid dresses, blue and white flowers and accent colors?" Gasp-p-p! She IS thinking about the wedding! Haha. Leesh has half her wedding planned practically, and Andrea hadn't even thought about it last time we talked. Lol. They have such very different personalities...and yet they are marrying brothers. Crazy. So I said, "I like it! Sounds good to me!" She said, "Good. I needed the approval of an expert before I could proceed."
Oh, look, there is even a picture of me with Alicia and Andrea. Whaddaya know.

So that was enough randomness for one day. Have a great day, ladies!
